First, let’s define what an “email open rate” is.

It’s not terribly complicated. Your email open rate simply means the rate at which your email gets opened. If you send out 100 emails and 47 of them get opened, you have a 47% open rate. Still with me? (more…)

Search engines are like giant entry ways into the internet. Millions of searchers start their online session with them – the big three being: Google, Yahoo and MSN. So, it should go without saying that your website should be listed in the search engine’s listings, preferably on the first page of the results, if you want to be taken seriously in the 21st century. If you’re not sure if your website is even indexed by the search engines (and sites that aren’t indexed aren’t displayed in the results pages), then you need to know this little trick. (more…)
